The Broadway Bound Awards of Central Arkansas highlights and applauds excellence in Central Arkansas High School Musical Theatre.
Presented in partnership with Celebrity Attractions and Argenta Contemporary Theatre, The Broadway Bound Awards highlights and applauds excellence in high school musical theatre.
Professional arts adjudicators attend participating high school musicals and nominate the top two performers from each production. In the spring, all nominees attend a masterclass workshop led by theatre professionals ending in a showcase performance on stage. The overall awarded best female and male performers win an all-expense paid trip to represent Central Arkansas in New York City. While there, the students participate in a 10 day masterclass workshop led by award-winning creatives and ultimately compete nationally, on a Broadway stage, in front of Broadway producers and directors at The National High School Musical Theatre Awards® otherwise known as the Jimmy Awards® in the summer. Winners receive a cash scholarship. Keep scrolling to see how you can get involved. |
